Thornycroft Company Ltd Shipbuilders House Flag Badge

A scarce original circa 1950's period 'Thornycroft Company house flag pin badge' gilt brass white enamel flag on pole, depicting the companies logo a 'T' within a blue circle. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no enamel loss, some minor surface scatches.
Size approx 28 x 23mm.
During Second World War Thornycroft built for the Royal Navy the Assault Landing Craft renamed Landing Craft Assault used by British troops at the D-Day landings 6th June 1944.
