WW2 Womens Land Army WLA hat and uniform pin badge

A scarce ORIGINAL Second World War pre 1942 period fine quality 'Womens Land Army' die- cast gilt brass badge inlaid with green enamel to central wheatsheaf and red to the Crown. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 37mm.
Worn on the felt hat and also on the uniform green jumper, discontinued after 1942 due to the metal shortage.
