7th City of London Battalion gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch

A rare original First World War period 'City of London Battalion gilt and enamel sweetheart pin badge in the form of a grenade with blue enamel title suround and an embossed '7th' on seeded ground to centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel.
Height approx 38mm.
