WW2 South Wales Borderers Regimental Sweetheart Brooch

A very unusual style Second World War period 'South Wales Borderers sweetheart pin badge', chromium plated diamond mounted with raised disc bearing 'Sphinx' on blue enamel Egypt tablet 'SWB' monogram below, set within a wreath of 'Immortelles' and suspended from a blue enamel ornate bar. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings,no defect to the enamel.
Height approx 62mm.
