A good original circa 1948 period 'Devon General Omnibus & Touring Co Ltd 25 Years service badge ; laurel leaf circlet bearing red enamel title surround, 25 Years Service to centre on white enamel ground; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1948 and maker's details 'F&S' (Fattorini & Sons) and inscribed 'S.GAY 1920 - 1947'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhale fitting, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
