A rare original '1924 British Empire Exhibition Wembley Grand Buffalo Rally medal' Crowned cow horn shield bearing embossed red enamel 'Wembley Lion' symbol to solid centre within red enamel 'GRAND BUFFALO RALLY' scroll and laurel wreath; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Simpsons & Co 56 York Rd Kings Cross N.I'. Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 40mm.
