1489175 Gunner Jack Page volunteered on the 31st October 1939 and was posted overseas on the 14th October 1941. Whist serving in North Africa with the 49th Light Anti Aircraft Regiment Royal Artillery he was reported missing on the 3rd December 1942 and was then confirmed a prisoner of the Italians and later the Germans. He was repatriated on the 14th May 1945.
