A scarce original First World War period 'The British Leather Co. Ltd On War Supplies 1915 identification badge', large gilt blue enamel title surround, the companies embossed logo to centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.GAUNT & SONS LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel with small niick in the 4 o'clock position, gilt finish remains bright.
