Manchester Royal Infirmary Certificated Nurse Bronze Hospital Badge

A good original circa mid century period 'Manchester Royal Infirmary pin badge' in the form of a large bronze embossed Latin title circlet 'VADE ET TU FAC SIMILITER (Go and do likewise) the centre depicting a biblical scene from the Good Samaritan; the reverse impressed with the recipients name 'L.E.MARLOW CERTIFICATED NURSE 318' within an embossed title surround. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order.
