White Heather Lucky Horseshoe Pin Badge c1940s

A good original original circa 1940's vintage period 'White Heather lucky horseshoe souviner brooch', in the form of a gilt metal blue enamel studded horeshoe, the centre with a sprig of white heather traditionally a Scottish symbol of good luck; the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'Imitation Made in England' (Stratton). Very good condition, comlete with original pin fittings, enamel virtually perfect.
Size approx 27 x 24mm.
