WW1 National Reserve London Original Pin Fitting Numbered Badge

A good original First World War period 'National Reserve London gilt badge'; large pattern example in the form blue enamel oval title, gilt Crown to voided centre, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed with official 'Register No 4008'. Very good condition, complete with original not replaced pin fitting, no damage to the enamel, minor edge nicks.
Height approx 34mm.
