British Railways Midland Region Foreman red enamel fishtail cap badge

A scarce original post 1956 'British Railways Midland Region Foreman gilt brass curved cap badge' with red enamelling denoting the region, the reverse impressed in relief the maker's details 'J.R.GAUNT LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original two flat oblong loops and brass securing blades, no stress marks or enamel loss.
Size approx 80 x 18mm.
