Royal Air Force pilot's wing gilt and enamel RAF sweetheart brooch

A good original Second World War period 'Royal Air Force gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch'; red enamel George VI crowned wreath embossed blue enamel 'RAF' crest to stippled centre, flanked by large highly defined feathered wings. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the blue enamel crest or crown.
Wingspan approx 57mm.
