A scarce original First World War period 'On His Majesty's Service 'John Brown & Co Ltd Clydebank, Scotland' gilt and enamel identification lapel badge, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.J.Dingley B'Ham' and with official issue number '3097'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel gilt finish remains bright.
