A rare original Second World War period 'Askern Main Colliery ARP official low issue number '19' home front badge'; gilt brass blue enamel title surround 'ARP' to centre on white enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
