British Empire Union patriotic membership badge formed 1916

A scarce original circa 1916 - 1928 period 'British Empire Union membership badge'; gilt brass blue enamel title circlet, the voided centre depicting a Lion with Union Jack Flag on pole emerging to the fore; the reverve impressed with early maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Bradford (1908 - 1928). Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fittings, minor service wear, no enamel loss.
