Lincolnshire Regiment cap badge

A particularly good example of an ORIGINAL First World War period 'Lincolnshire Regiment cap badge'; white metal Sphinx over tablet inscribed 'Egypt' in Old English lettering above a brass scroll 'Lincolnshire'. Very good condition, complete with original crimped slider.
In November 1946 the Regiment was granted the Royal title.
