A scarce original First World War period 'British Red Cross Society London Camberwell gilt and enamel pin badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and inscribed '6592 M.L.OLIVEIR'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Height approx 49mm.

The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
