. A scarce ORIGINAL circa 1943 - 1957 early period 'H.M.S. Amethyst cap tally ribbon', gold bullion embroidered lettering with large square dots on long silk ribbon. Very good condition.
Length apprrox 102mm.
HMS Amethyst was a modified Black Swan-class sloop launched in 1943. She was later designated as a frigate, was involved in the Yangtze Incident in 1949 and was broken up in 1957.
