WW1 On His Majestys Work war service badge

A scarce original First World War period 'On His Majestys Work war service official identification badge'; gilt circular disc bearing an embossed Crowned with red, white and blue enamel patriotic ribbon scroll on seeded ground, the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton' and 'Reg.638232'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
