A scarce original circa 1955 period 'Dundee Royal Infirmary nurses hospital badge'; ornate suspension bar with Latin motto 'Pro Aegris Et Laesis' (for the sick and injured) supporting a Celtic Cross with title surround; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1955 maker's details 'WJD' (William James Dingley) and inscribed 'PHYLLIS P. ROBBIE. 1963'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, a fine example.
