A scarce original First World War period ' Barclay, Curle & Co Ltd On His Majesty"s Service Works identification numbered badge'; gilt convex circlet inlaid with blue enamel 'Crown G R' over 'O.H.M.S' with white company title below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.J.Dingley B'Ham' and official issue number '3336'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
