WW1 Red Cross Cloth Shield removable uniform badge

A rare original interesting survivor of the First World War period Red Cross uniform badge'; large white hessian cotton shield, well made from two parts, with an applied herringbone pattern red cross; the reverse retaining three original early style hooks, to allow for removal. Good condition, minor discoloration and rust to hooks.
