S.S. Dunera British India Steam Navigation Company Badge c.1901

A rare original post circa 1901 Victorian period 'S.S. Dunera shipping line pin badge'; large gilt blue enamel convex title surround, Britannia and Lion to voided centre displaying a 'Union Flag' and British India Steam Navigation Company house flag.; the reverse impressed with 'Reg.No 387932' a design and registration date of 1901. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
Diameter approx 32mm.
SS Dunera was a British troopship in the Boer War.
