A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Cleveland Petroleum Company garage forecourt attendant promotional cap badge'; large silver plated lozenge shape example inlaid with white enamel with red trim, inscribed with blue "CLEVELAND'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'TOYE & Co LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin, no stress marks or enamel loss, an excellent example.
Size approx 55 x 26mm.
