A good original circa 1930's period 'Fred Ropers Midget Troupe performing HMS Lilliput gilt advertising pin badge' in the form of a white enamel ships wheel title surround, superimposed by a sailor boy in full navy uniform making a formal salute; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St. B'Ham 18' 'REGd 764019 ENGLAND' a Registration, Design and Patent number for the year 1930. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or enamel loss, very minor surface scratches, gilt finish remains bright.
