British European Airways BEA Air Hostess small gilt cap badge

A scarce original circa 1950's 'British European Airways Air Stewardess small hat badge'; gilt metal convex example bearing 'BEA' logo with red felt backing, within a laurel wreath surmounted by an 'Astral Crown', the reverse with two clutch pins and retainers. Very good used condition, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 34mm.
