Railway Convalescent Homes pin badge issued 1948 to 1951

A good original circa 1948 to 1951 short lived period issue 'Railway Convalescent Homes pin badge', gilt brass example, the centre displaying the white horse of Kent within title surround, encircled by seven highly enamelled shields representing the counties where the homes were based, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham 18'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example.
