A good original circa 1951 to 1954 short lived period issue 'Railway Convalescent Homes badge', gilt brass example, the centre displaying the white horse of Kent within title surround, encircled by seven highly enamelled shields representing the counties where the homes were based, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example.
