A scarce original circa 1930's 'H.M.COASTGUARD Coast Life Saving Corps badge'; large circular gilt example, the title surround inlaid with blue enamel lettering, the centre displaying a King George VI crown on electric blue enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Fair condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel intact, heavy surface scratches, gilt finish now dulled. Price reflects.
