United Dairies (London) Ltd Advertising Cap / Uniform Badge

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'United Dairies (London) Ltd milk deliver driver's badge'; very large convex gilt shield inlaid with predominantly orange and white enamel company colours, depicting a map of the United Kingdom with superimposed cypher 'UD' to the centre with the quote 'The Sign of Purity'. Very good condition, complete with two loop fittings and split pin, enamel perfect (light reflection only), gilt finish remains bright.
