WW1 Nottingham County Special Constable 1914 police reserve badge

A scarce original First World War circa 1914 period 'Nottingham County Special Constable gilt and enamel badge', the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed with the date '1914' not issue number. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel with minor flake loss lower right side not detracting from its appearance, gilt finish remains bright.
