Northern Manufacturing Company officially numbered war worker badge

A scarce original circa Second World War period 'The Northern Manufacturing Company Gainsborough, Lincolnshire officially numbered factory worker pin badge'; chromium plated example in the form of a cogwheel surmounted by the 'Lincoln City Arms'; the reverse impressed with official issue number '352' and maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 33mm.
During the one of the things 'The Northern Manufacturing Company' made was Naval ammunition hoists for warships and submarine propeller shaft clutches.
