WW2 Visco Engineering Co Ltd On National Service low issue numbered badge

A scarce original Second World War period 'Visco Engineering Co Ltd Stafford Road Croydon London wartime badge'; gilt brass black enamel title surround, white enamel centre bearing the companies logo 'VEC' and On National Service; the reverse impressed with low issue number '98' and maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original horseshoe style buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example. Diameter approx 25mm.
'Visco Engineering Company Ltd Stafford Road Croydon London, suffered flying bomb damage to their factory in June 1944.
