Primrose League Gazette Journal Badge c.1924

A rare original circa 1924 period 'Primrose League Gazette newspaper pin badge', gilt metal oval inlaid with blue enamel, displaying a enamel shield to the centre bearing a 'PG' monogram; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis Badges Ltd B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
