Saint George and the Dragon patriotic badge

A scarce original early circa 1920's period large pattern 'Royal Society of St George cast silvered pin badge' in the form of 'Saint George and the Dragon'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
Height 37mm.
The Royal Society of St George was founded in 1894, with Queen Victoria as first Royal Patron, followed by the patronage of every reigning monarch upto Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
