WW1 City of Oxford Special Constabulary 1918 silver police badge

A scarce original First World War period '1918 Oxford City Police Special Constabulary police silver gilt badge'; large blue enamel title circlet, Oxford City Coat of Arms to voided centre; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1918 and maker's details 'V&S' (Vaughton & Sons). Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, some small enamel loss to title lower left otherwise a very good example. Price reflects.
