BBC Radio Circle London Area childrens hour club badge

A good original circa 1930's 'B.B.C. Radio Circle membership badge'; gilt brass title circlet inlaid with blue enamel, the centre depicting a rising sun in gold translucent enamel with rabbit and bird on green ground to the fore and 'LONDON' area title suspended below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Miller 118 Branston St. B'Ham'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, dark blemish to the blue enamel, right side, gilt finish remains bright.
Diameter 21mm.
From 1923 the British Broadcasting Company formed Radio Circles, they were clubs for Children's Hour listeners. A membership fee was paid and a badge was given. The BBC decided to end the Radio Circles in 1934.
