Civil Defence Corps lady volunteer pin badge post 1953

A scarce original Cold War period lady volunteer gilt pin badge, EIIR Crowned blue enamel title circlet 'Civil Defence Corps' bearing the 'Royal Lion of England' central device. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height 26mm.
Civil Defence organisations were disbanded In 1968.
