A scarce original circa 1929 period 'Presidency General Hospital Calcutta, India pin badge'; large silver plated Crowned laurel wreath, red enamel cross to voided centre, ribbon twin title scroll below; the reverse inscribed 'G.P. NAYLOR 1925 - 1929'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings with crude lead repair to pin, no damage to the enamel.
Height 51mm.
The 'Presidency General Hospital' was renamed 'Seth Sukulall Karnani Memorial Hospital, Calcutta in 1954.
