A scarce original circa 1912 to 1918 period 'Royal Flying Corps die-cast bronze cap badge' with fine detail. Good condition, complete with ONLY one of two blade fittings, patina patchy.
Height 44mm.
On the 13 April 1912 King George V signed a royal warrant establishing the 'Royal Flying Corps. The 'RFC' and the RNAS 'Royal Naval Air Service' merged on 1st April 1918 to form the 'Royal Air Force'.
