Salvation Army Maltese Cross pin badge

A scarce original circa 1940's possibly wartime period 'Salvation Army pin badge'; silver plated blue enamel circlet, the centre displaying an embossed red enamel 'Maltese Cross' on seeded ground, the central disc bearing 'The Salvation Army Crest', 'The Cross' the main Christian symbol, the letter 'S" for ‘Salvation and 'Crossed Swords' representing the fight against evil with words and actions. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
