WW2 Duchess of Northumberlands Comforts Fund for the ATS pin badge

A scarce original circa 1939 wartime period 'Auxiliary Territorial Service comforts fund workers badge'; large gilt brass example, yellow enamel Duchess of Northumberlands title circlet bearing her device, surmounting laurel sprays with pale blue enamel centre inscribed 'Comforts Fund ATS'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
