A good original Second World War period 'Borough of Maidstone air raid precaution lapel badge' small gilt and enamel example displaying the 'Borough of Maidstone Arms' surmounted by an 'ARP' scroll, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Caxton Co S.W.1.'. Good condition, complete original buttonhole lapel fitting, minor defects to the enamel.
