A rare original Second World War period 'SMETHWICK DROP FORGINGS LTD air raid precautions badge'; chromium plated example with black enamel title surround, 'ARP' to centre on cream enamel ground; the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham'. Good condition, complete with original lapel fitting, very minor defects to the enamel.
