British Red Cross Society Proficiency Anti Gas Training medal badge

A scarce original circa 1938 to 1968 cold war period period 'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Anti-Gas Training gilt and enamel unnamed medal', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, traces of old glue marks to reverse.
Height 96mm.
'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in Anti-Gas Training badge' was instituted in 1938 and discontinued in 1968.
