WW2 Co-operative Wholesale Society ARP badge

A scarce original wartime period 'Co-operative Wholesale Society Air Raid Precaution gilt metal badge inlaid with white enamel, depicting a large corn sheaf flanked by farm sickle and spade with 'ARP' to the centre and 'CWS' tri-part scroll below, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
