WW1 National Reserve Class II Lambeth London home front badge

A very scarce original First World War period large gilt badge inlaid with blue and white enamel, '17' impressed to the right side rifle butt, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed with official issue number '14507 Lambeth' Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, a few manufacturers imperfections only, gilt finish remains bright.
