A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Women's League of Health & Beauty fitness movement pin brooch' large chromuim plated example depicting a heavily embossed dancing figure of an Art Deco scantily dressed classical maiden. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
Height approx 69mm.

'Women's League of Health & Beauty' fitness movement was established in the 1930s by Mary Bagot Stack. The leagues motto ‘Movement is life’.
