A scarce original circa 1943 to 1945 wartime issue 'King’s Commendation for Brave Conduct plastic economy issue badge' in the form of a Crowned oval laurel wreath; within the wreath a tablet inscribed 'For Brave Conduct' superimposed on an upright sword all on a red plastic ground, the reverse impressed in relief with Registration Number 'R.D.839943 PAT. APP. FOR'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, colour remains good, no distortion.
